Here you'll find graphs that are ideal for that strange textile hybrid called "Knit-Weave". I've made a truckload of scarves and other 2-sided things with these patterns, and also done alot of experimentation using an extremely thin wool yarn for the knitting yarn, and a much heavier wool, mohair or mixes of thinner yarns used together for the weaving yarn, sometimes felting the resulting fabric. If you try felting, don't forget to knit the fabric as loosely as possible. If you use a bulky, this technique will make interesting rugs and afghans, too. The first three patterns in graph form, ready to print out. |
