This pretty little edging is from a 1958 knitting magazine, and it looks like
it celebrates the eternally popular Maraschino Cherry, a sugar-pickled cherry
used as a garnish, with the leaves and any nutrition long departed. The perfect
edging to use on your next lownecked cocktail sweater. The pattern calls
for size 1 (US) needles. Go Here to see Donna Hrynkiw's knitted swatch of this pattern.
