Mesh Structures

These patterns are a form of lace, or openwork knitting. Many of the simpler structures have been documented elsewhere, the ones in Parts #2 will be more random and original. I started at the beginning in terms of simplicity, and then tried all the variations I could think of. They really come in handy for interesting verticle panels between cables, openwork horizontal stripes, or allover textures. Try the same ones in linen, wool and cotton to get a really good idea of the different properties of various fibers in terms of elasticity and drape.
