Headigan? It's a charmingly sideways knitted cardigan for your head! It has a ribbed, button embellished band to make it look like it's been buttoned on. This pattern set contains both charted and text directions to make versions in one color garter stitch, striped garter, Bohus-inspired seed stitch and a fancy cabled version with garter ground.

The pattern requires a size #7 or #8 US knitting needle {or size to obtain gauge}, a yarn needle, and needle and thread to sew on the buttons.

Any worsted weight wool that knits up to 4.5 stitches and 7 rows in garter stitch will work. The perfect yardage is 110 yards per 50 grams. I used Jojoland.com Rhythm Variegated worsted. The striped version is great for using up small bits of pretty yarn.
