Headigan? It's a charmingly sideways knitted cardigan for your head! It has a ribbed, button embellished band to make it look like it's been buttoned on. This kit will make one striped Headigan hat. Included are a ball each of superfine color-changing wool, and cashmere/merino yarn. You also get seven beautiful vintage pearl buttons. Directions come in both text and charted form.

The kit is vacuum packed in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

You will need to provide a size #7 or #8 US knitting needle {or size to obtain gauge}, a yarn needle, and needle and thread to sew on the buttons.

The colorchanging yarn is interesting, no two balls are alike! It's a three ply, with each ply changing color over a long length of yardage, when those are plied together, you get an ever-changing mixture. The black is an Italian 50/50% cashmere/merino blend, it blooms after washing, and is extremely soft. If you choose fuschia for the second stripe, that's also superfine wool.
